Thank you for choosing me to be part of your wedding day. These terms are here so we both know exactly what to expect, which means you can relax and enjoy being pampered. By paying your deposit you're confirming that you've read and agreed to the points below.

Booking your day

A minimum of three glams is required for a wedding day booking (for example the bride plus two members of the wedding party). This is a minimum charge, so if numbers drop on the day the booking is still charged for three. Trials are booked and charged separately and do not count towards this minimum.

Securing your date

To secure your date I ask for a 50% deposit. Your date is confirmed once this is received, subject to availability at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due four weeks before your wedding day.

The deposit is non-refundable unless I need to cancel (see below). It reflects the time I set aside for you and the other bookings I turn away to keep your date free.

Changes

I completely understand that wedding plans shift. Any changes to your booking (times, numbers or location) should be made in writing before your final payment and no later than one month before your date. Changes requested within a month of the wedding cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability, though I'll always do my very best to accommodate you.

If I'm unwell

In the unlikely event that illness means I can't be your makeup artist, you'll receive a full refund of everything you've paid, and I'll use my network to help find you another artist. Please note that my responsibility is limited to refunding the amount you've paid me, and doesn't extend to any difference in cost of an alternative artist.

Travel and additional costs

Travel is included within [X] miles of [base location]. Beyond this, travel is charged at [£X per mile] (or actual cost of transport, agreed with you in advance). Where applicable, parking, congestion and ULEZ charges, and accommodation for very early starts or long-distance dates will be discussed and agreed before your date. There won't be any surprises.

On the day

Please let me know your ready-by time and share your running order in advance so I can plan the morning properly. If access to you or the venue is delayed, or the schedule runs late for reasons outside my control, I'll do everything I can to keep us on track, but I can't be held responsible for timings affected by these delays.

Skin and health

So I can look after you properly, please let me know in advance of any allergies, skin sensitivities or conditions, and any products you know you react to. A patch test is available on request and is recommended if you have sensitive skin. You remain responsible for disclosing anything relevant to your skin's health.

Photographs of your glam

I retain the rights to images of my own work. I love to share my brides on my website and social media, but if you'd prefer I didn't, simply let me know in writing and that's absolutely fine. Where images feature you, I'll always check you're happy before using anything. I'm also glad to work with your photographer and content team so we can all use the shots you love most.

Things outside our control

In the rare event that circumstances beyond either of our control (such as venue closures, extreme weather or other events amounting to force majeure) prevent the booking from going ahead, we'll work together in good faith to reschedule or reach a fair resolution.

Insurance

I hold public liability insurance for your peace of mind.
